FabFilter Volcano has proven to be one of the few plug-ins that offer convincing high quality digital filtering with unique analog character. With tons of new features, modulation options and a highly improved user interface, the new Volcano is the top of its class.
It provides an easy to use interface, based on the innovative what-you-use-is-what-you-see concept which shows only what you are actually using, making it a breeze to work with the impressive list of features that the plug-in has to offer.

Fab Filter Volcano 2.0 is a plug-in software for high quality digital filtering with analog character. It is modified with an improved user interface and some new features added compared to its predecessor.
The improved interface is divided into horizontal regions with uppermost partition containing the undo/redo buttons and the presets. Interactive filter display comes next followed by the filter controls. Modulation slots come next to the controls with easy drag and drop option for modulation. Modulation sources and the selection bar is the next partition and the MIDI Learn, monitoring and input/output/mix is the last. The interface only contains the filters, modulation sources and slots that you are actually using, but you can always add a filter or an envelop follower. There is no need to search through long dropdown menus, many sources and targets, its easy drag-and-drop modulation with 24-slot modulation matrix makes it simple and makes sound designing more fun, easy and fast. There is endless modulation options, with all the 16-step XLFOs, envelope generators, envelope followers and MIDI sources you will ever need. You can use the included presets to get a feel of what you can do with Fab Filter Volcano 2. Then you can create your own unique effects.
Impressive filtering algorithm and easy modulation options make the sound quality to a top level. |

What's new in version 2.1
Improved the way parameter values with custom ranges and transforms are shown by Audio Unit hosts and Pro Tools (e.g. for automation purposes).
Added a Deauthorize option to the plug-in's Help menu, which makes it easy to delete your license key from a computer if needed. |
